Lisa's Cinny Scrolls

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.

    Mix: warm milk, discard and sugar together in bowl.

    Add: egg, butter (for the dough) and vanilla

  3. 3.

    Mix in: four, salt, baking powder and baking soda until shaggy dough forms. Cover and rest for 20-30mins.

    Uncover: and knead for 5 minutes. Rest for another 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven: to 180°c

  6. 6.

    Roll out dough: into square

  7. 7.

    Mix: brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.

  8. 8.

    Melt: unsalted butter and brush onto dough.

  9. 9.

    Sprinkle: sugar and cinnamon mix on top

  10. 10.

    Roll up: dough and cut into 12 sections.

  11. 11.

    Bake: at 180°c for 24-26 mins

  12. 12.

    Mix icing ingredients: together until desired texture - drizzle on top once scrolls have cooled.
