Vietnamese Dressing (Nuoc Cham)
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 red chilli
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Method
- 1.
Dissolve: sugar in lime juice, vinegar, and water.
- 2.
Stir in: fish sauce, garlic, and chilli.
- 3.
Taste: and adjust — more sugar for sweetness, water to mellow.
- 4.
Serve: with salads, grilled meats, or noodle bowls.
